  1. Before completing this form, please review the Burn Permit page of the Town of Milton website for permit conditions and state statutes related to burn permits. If you do not understand the law or have further questions, contact Don Turner, Jr., Milton Town Forest Warden at 802-893-1419 before you burn.

  2. The individual responsible for monitoring the burn must apply for the permit, not an organization or business.
  3. Enter the physical location of the burn, no post office boxes accepted.
  4. A valid phone number is required.
  5. This permit is only valid for the date listed above. If you do not complete the burn on the date listed above you must apply for a new permit.

    By checking the "I agree" box below, you agree and acknowledge that 1) your application will not be signed in the sense of a traditional paper document, 2) by signing in this alternate manner, you authorize your electronic signature to be valid and binding upon you to the same force and effect as a handwritten signature, and 3) you may still be required to provide a traditional signature at a later date, and 4) you will follow all Town of Milton ordinances to complete a safe burn, and take responsibility for the control and extinguishing of this fire.
