Welcome

The Bombardier Park West Perimeter Path is a shared space for all to enjoy the beauty of the park, and the many opportunities for fresh air fitness and activity.

Established in 2026, this path was made possible with a grant from the Vermont Outdoor Recreation Economic Collaborative (VOREC).

The path also includes a 24-stop StoryWalk®! StoryWalk® is an interactive activity that combines walking with reading a children's book, promoting literacy, physical activity, and enjoyment of the outdoors.

Please enjoy the Perimeter Path for walking, running, biking, wheelchair and accessibility use, strolling with children, dog walking, and more!

Accessibility

With a primary goal of providing an accessible path for Milton residents and visitors to enjoy at the park, the Perimeter Path was built to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

This includes but is not limited to: a surface material (fine crushed stone) suitable for mobility aids, compliant elevation grades, a path width of five feet, clear and accessible signage, accessible restrooms/parking areas/paths clearly indicated on signage, and seating/rest areas located along the path within appropriate distances.

Shared Path, Shared Responsibility

Help us keep this path safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone!

  • All pets must be leashed and under the owner's control at all times.
  • Mobility transportation aids are welcome in accordance with ADA requirements.
  • Pedal bikes and Class 1 E-Bikes only (Pedal-Assist only, no throttle) are permitted on the path. Riders must yield to pedestrians at all times. No motorized vehicles allowed.
  • Leave no trace. Dispose of waste properly and assist in keeping the path clean.
  • Be courteous to other users, respect natural areas and all park infrastructure including signage and amenities.
  • Use of the path is at your own risk.
  • The path is open dawn to dusk.
  • Alcohol, smoking & vaping, illegal drugs, firearms, and weapons are prohibited
  • Report unlawful activity to Milton Police at 802-893-2424. In an emergency, call 911.
