Assessor

The Assessor’s office has office hours of 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, to assist anyone with questions regarding their assessments. Additionally, the Assessor’s office helps professionals such as appraisers, attorneys, and surveyors.

Online Mapping

Online Mapping is now available for all parcels in Milton.

The online maps are also linked to online property record cards, allowing easy 24/7 access from any computer with an internet connection.

Please note that this data does not take the place of a legal survey or other primary source documentation. Official source information must be obtained at the town office.

Any discrepancies should be reported to the Milton Assessor’s office.

Online Property Record Cards

Online Property Record Cards are now available for residential and condominium parcels.

This data was converted from the ProVal Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) system to the NEMRC CAMA system. Pictures and sketches came from the ProVal system in most cases. We attempted to match the existing values using the newer software. Therefore, there was generally a small miscellaneous adjustment to ensure no change in values.

Commercial data is not available online.

Any discrepancies should be reported to the Milton Assessor’s office.

You can look up data by Parcel ID, Name, or Location.

The Online PRC shows the value summary, building details, land details, and the picture and sketch. It does not show the outbuilding details.

For commercial property record cards, please contact the Assessor’s Office directly at 802-893-4325 or email the Assessor’s Office.

Residential Building Permit Inspections

The Town of Milton Assessor’s Office will be conducting inspections of all properties with building permits issued to assess the improvement/change to keep our records current. If you are a property owner that has been issued a building permit, you can expect a visit from the Assessor. Ed Clodfelter, the Town Assessor, handles commercial properties. Lori Frohock, the Town Assistant Assessor, will conduct field inspections of residential properties, interior, and exterior. They will have identification and a copy of the permits.

Interior / Exterior Inspections

For those properties where the project is on the exterior, the improvement will be measured, and photos will be taken. A card will be left at the property indicating the Assessor was there, what inspection was done, and if an interior inspection is needed. For those properties where an interior inspection is necessary, notification will be left. Please call to set up an appointment with us.
