About Milton Rescue Milton Rescue is a licensed advanced life support ambulance providing emergency 911 response to Milton, Vermont. Milton Rescue responds to 1300 calls per year. The Milton Rescue roster consists of over 50 volunteers, per-diems, and full time members certified up to the Paramedic level.
Milton Rescue works closely with the Milton Fire Department and Milton Police Department to provide outstanding care to those residing in and visiting the Town of Milton.
Volunteer! To apply to volunteer please submit a Rescue Volunteer Application form . Members work one 12-hour shift per week and one 12-hour weekend shift each month. They also participate in weekly training during their duty shift and monthly training with the full department. Members have the opportunity for all expenses paid training at the University of Vermont and at other local education centers.
